Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) is excited to announce a unique opportunity for artists of all disciplines to participate in our upcoming Art Heist: Small Works Exhibition a micro fundraiser featuring donated small-scale artworks at accessible prices! All works will be available for immediate purchase! The works will be hung within a color blocked area of the gallery walls, and as the works are "stolen" (sold) a chalk outline will be made to mark its disappearance! With a maximum size limit of 16″x16”, this exhibit promises to be an impressive showcase of creativity and talent. This exhibition will be hung salon style so that we can showcase as many artists as possible!
All proceeds will help support FAVA in continuing our mission: to foster creativity and community by exhibiting contemporary visual art, educating people of all ages, and strengthening cultural awareness throughout the community.
Interested artists are encouraged to donate art work in any medium they desire. Multiple works may be donated. Watercolors, acrylics, oils, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, photography, jewelry, etc.-- all artistic contributions are welcome. A diversity of mediums and styles will help to make this exhibition an enriching experience for all.

The deadline to donate artwork is Friday, March 22nd. Artwork can be dropped off at FAVA during business hours Tuesday - Friday 11 - 5 starting Wednesday, March 6 — Friday, Mar 22, 2024. If you need to schedule another drop-off time please contact our Gallery Director Tirzah Legg asap at tirzah@fava.org.

We encourage everyone to join us on Saturday, April 20, 2024 for a closing celebration coinciding with our Spring Art Market Pop-Up to celebrate FAVA and the arts in our community!
