Join us for FAVA’s Annual Art Fair in the Square (sponsored by the City of Oberlin) in Oberlin’s beautiful historic Tappan Square on Saturday, September 14th from 10-4, rain or shine! This year we’ll feature over 90 artists, plus musical entertainment, food trucks, and more!

FAVA’s Art Fair in the Square includes artists and makers of all ages and skill levels: children, students, and professional. This year we have over 90 artist vendors in all mediums!

Cats On Holiday is a Cleveland based Swamp Pop band that has been pleasing audiences for 20 years with their own special blend of Louisiana inspired rock/roots/ Zydeco. The Cats are driven by founding member, songwriter, lead vocalist and guitar/ button-box player Denis DeVito. The Cats perform over 100 gigs annually at the best live music venues from as far West as the Lake Erie Islands and East to Cape Cod. COH has been a part of such cool events as The Great Blue Heron Festival, Hessler Street Fair, Parade the Circle, Lock 3 Live, Wade Oval Wednesdays, Ingenuity Festival, Burning River Fest, Nelson’s Ledges’ Lazy Daisy Festival, Starwood, Kent State Folk Festival, Akron’s First Night, Boston Mills Art Festival as well as the resident band for the annual Towpath Marathon. The band also have a regular rotation of clubs in which they perform including the Music Box, Beachland Ballroom, Brother’s Lounge, Water Street Tavern(Kent), G.A.R. Hall, Balloons(Ellicottville, NY), Parkview Niteclub, The Harp and many others.
Over the years COH has shared the stage with such national acts as Los Lobos, Marcia Ball, Tab Benoit, Beau Soleil, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Buckwheat Zydeco, Carpenter Ants, The Iguanas, NRBQ, Leon Russell, and Terrance Simien, to name a few.

VOLUNTEER
As a non-profit we rely on volunteers like you to fill a myriad of jobs during the Festival, including assisting artists with load in/out, helping with the fundraiser. tables, staffing the information booth, and more. You can sign up to volunteer in areas that are interesting to you!
