Katie Krueger
August 23 - October 5
Reception: August 23, 5 PM
Katie Krueger is an abstract expressionist whose work is a vibrant celebration of color and emotion. With an Associate of Arts and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, Katie's journey has been anything but conventional. Her background in social work, particularly her dedication to helping survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, deeply informs her artistic practice. Born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Lorain County, Katie has always been drawn to the arts. From a young age, she expressed a love for bold color and design, finding solace in the freedom of abstract expression. This passion for art led her to pursue an academic path that bridges both art and social work, culminating in her current role as an educator, researcher, and PhD student.
